Grand Oaks Tours
If you are interested in learning more about how we grow flowers on the farm, join us for one of our on-farm tours! Tours are offered throughout the summer and fall and last around 2 hours. These tours are designed for teens and adults who want to learn more about growing cut flowers.
Details:
Tickets are $20/person (13 and over). Children under 13 are free with paying adult.
Tours includes a 90-minute guided portion of the different fields on the farm, including our lavender, sunflowers, and annual fields. We will talk about how we grow the different flowers on the farm including bed preparation, crop selection, planting, and harvesting. The last 30 minutes is set-aside for free time to explore, take pictures, or to ask more questions!
Remember to dress appropriately for your time on the farm. We are a working farm and the tour is completely outdoors. There is a chance you will get mud on your clothes and shoes. Tours also take place rain or shine (we will cancel in case of inclement weather).
Portable restrooms are available onsite
In addition to our flower farm tours, we also offer homeschool tours geared towards elementary school children for those who want to schedule a field trip on the farm. Please contact us to discuss details and coordinate a date.
Tickets are non-refundable. If plans change and you can no longer attend, feel free to gift your ticket to another individual.
